This Pouilly-Fuisse Premier Cru 'Clos des Quarts' comes from Chateau des Quarts, a 2.3ha walled monopole in the Aux Quarts climat farmed and vinified by the Bret Brothers (also of Domaine La Soufrandiere). The 100% Chardonnay old-vine vineyard on clay-limestone is whole-bunch pressed, barrel-fermented and aged around 18 months with minimal intervention, in a precise, mineral, terroir-driven style.
