2020 Meursault, Clos du Cromin, Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur, Burgundy

Austere with plenty of lemon curd, lime and stone fruit on this nose. It’s currently rather closed but there is no doubt about the levels of fruit concentration on the palate. Very energetic mouth-watering acidity and more citrus fruits are to be found which lead into fine and elegant finish. This is a refined, balanced and stylish Meursault which requires laying down for a minimum of 5 years before pulling the cork. I’d happily have some in my cellar. Drink 2025-2032.”
