Is Olivier now the best name in the village? Quite possibly, this is quintessential Puligny. “The most comprehensive expression of Puligny available, this covers every village climat bar two. Every component is barrel fermented, with 20% new oak. The wine is especially taut this year, and searingly fresh. This all contributes to an assertive minerality, but the palate certainly has enough weight. A little time will mould a classic example.
