2018 Ch. Giscours is a lovely wine and certainly shows a sense of place which some estates may have missed due to the vintage (in my opinion). The wine was also highly regarded by the BB&R tasting teams as well as most critics – The Wine Advocate notwithstanding. Second Growth Ch. Brane-Cantenac is another property which has benefited from investment and meticulous attention to detail in the vineyard.
