The Chocolate Block is always a popular wine with many Berry Bros. & Rudd customers mainly due to its excellent value for money. I think the new 2017 release is arguably the best yet as the style of the wine has evolved a lot over the years. The fruit is now much more serious and the wine on the whole more complex than previous years – the good news is the price still remains the same! The wines are produced under the watchful eye of Marc Kent, winemaker, cellar master and part owner of the estate (Boekenhoutskloof).
