We have now sold out of the majority of the wines, but we have been able to obtain more Taylor’s from Taylor Fladgate and Cockburn from the Symingtons - both have just Johnnie Symington regularly makes the point that a century ago the highest prices for Vintage Port were achieved by these two shippers, possibly because their two greatest vineyards, Taylor’s Quinta da Vargellas and Cockburn’s Quinta do Canais face each other across the Douro in some of Port’s finest terroir.
