This afternoon sees the release of 2016 Ch. Mouton Rothschild. It is an outstanding wine in 2016, more than justifying its position as a First Growth. Mouton’s signature style of opulent fruit and exceptionally suave tannins was very evident at our tasting. There is purity, weight and volume which borders on perfection. The thought of just how great a wine this may turn into is something I find genuinely very exciting! I expect demand to be very high.
